Patrick LaMere is a Senior Analyst with Brightline Group with experience in the utilities industry. His experience includes providing technical reports, including testimony and recommendations regarding electric energy-related topics such as utility rate design; adjustor mechanisms; net metering; distributed generation; renewable energy standards; and energy efficiency measures. He has expertise in energy policy; often interpreting Federal and State statutes, regulations, and standards for elected officials and has authored several utility administrative codes.
Patrick excels in applying his educational background in economics and econometrics to the challenging circumstances surrounding the ever-evolving energy sector. He uses his testimony and presentation experiences to effectively communicate project developments with clients and applicable parties.

Where did you grow up?
I grew up on Long Island, NY. A little town called Northport.
What was your first job?
My first job was as a Soccer Referee when I was in eighth grade.
What's the best place you've ever visited?
The Rainforest of Belize. Once there, we were able to explore the caves by means of water tubing down the Caves Branch River.
How do you spend your free time?
When I’m away from home, and not hiking through the mountains, or playing soccer or tennis, you can typically find me at a concert or brewery hopping. Otherwise, I’m either binging anything Marvel or taking care of my Australian shepherd puppy, Atlas.
