Where did you grow up?

I grew up in the rolling green mountains of southwestern Vermont.

What was your first job?

My first job was a regional sales engineer for a Colorado based optics company who designs and manufactures polarization focused optical devices for use biomedical, communication, defense, and research industries.

What's the best place you've ever visited?

The best place I ever visited is the Spanish town of Tarifa, located on Mediterranean coast right off the Strait of Gibraltar. Tarifa combines beautiful beaches with an old walled city that provides modern living and maintains a connection to the past. The architecture and dining are truly exceptional.

How do you spend your free time?

My free time is spent strapping on skis, hiking boots, or jumping in a raft to explore the outdoors across Colorado and the Western United States. Sharing all these experiences with my wife and daughter is a welcome escape from the city and provides an opportunity to share the things we love the most.
