What was your first job?

My first job was at a local family-owned pumpkin patch in Water Mill, NY, which is where I grew up. I would spend most of the day roasting and husking corn and come home covered in burnt corn husks and butter.

Do you have any pets?

Yes! I am currently raising a puppy, Tofino, for Guide Dogs for the Blind. My first guide dog puppy, Gazpacho, was recalled this past year and is currently on campus for formal guide work training!

How do you recharge?

Being in the alpine in the most remote places is how I recharge. Exploring and adventuring while pushing myself to the limit is what fills me up and brings me the most joy. I love to finish a long day (or days) away from civilization utterly exhausted with not much left to give.

How do you spend your free time?

When I am not working or catching up on school, I am most likely playing in the mountains out in the backcountry – either on skis, on foot, or climbing on rocks. Or playing with my guide dog puppy Tofino!
