Laura Hopkins
Laura Hopkins is an accounting specialist with BrightLine Group with a diverse background in banking, auditing, and financial analysis within both the media and data industries. She has strong experience in both staff and project management, project budgeting, compensation planning and analysis, as well as multiple procedural, process, and program implementations. She also has strong child management experience after an extensive period spent as a stay-at-home parent. At BrightLine, Laura is responsible for various accounting activities.

What was your first job?
My first job was a lifeguard/swim instructor at our town pool, which is where I discovered that teaching was not my future.
Where did you grow up?
I grew up in small towns nestled among the edges of Iowa Cornfields, including a stint 20 minutes from the ultimate edge of a cornfield known as the Field of Dreams.
Who's your favorite band?
I am a huge music lover, but my absolute favorite band is Fleetwood Mac – the 1997 video of “Silver Springs” recorded for the MTV concert production of The Dance is my Roman Empire.
How do you spend your free time?
I mainly spend my free time chauffeuring my kids around to various activities, but when I can find the time, I enjoy playing volleyball, pickleball, golf, hiking, and reading.
