What was your first job?
My dad is a plumber, so I spent a lot of summers as a “plumber’s assistant.” In practice, that mostly meant holding a flashlight at very specific angles and running back and forth to the van for tools and parts. But I like to think I was a critical part of the operation.
If you could pick up a new skill in an instant, what would it be?
If “picking winning lotto numbers” counts as a skill, I’ll go with that. Otherwise, I’d love to be an expert at learning languages.
Do you have any pets?
I have a 5-year-old lab mix named Emmy who I am very obsessed with.
How do you recharge?
I love getting out into nature with my dog. She’s part dog, part fish, so most of our outings involve some kind of water. Luckily, living in Seattle makes that very easy.
