Where did you grow up?

I was born and raised in Marietta Ohio before I left to Tennessee for college.

What was your first job?

My first job out of college was an Energy Engineer with Sain Engineering and Associates (SEA) in Birmingham Alabama. With SEA I traveled domestically and internationally performing ASHRAE energy audits for the US Navy including Italy, Japan, Djibouti, and Bahrain.

What's the best place you've ever visited?

From the moment I crested the horizon of the Rocky Mountains, my home and heart has been in Colorado. The most unique place I’ve visited (outside of work) was Romania where my wife ran for Team USA in the 50k Road Ultramarathon World Championships.

How do you spend your free time?

My free time is spent practicing and training for endurance sports including road and trail running, cycling, swimming, hiking, and home cooking stupid amounts of food to fuel these events.
