BrightLine Group Certified By the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council

Boulder, CO—02/28/2019—BrightLine Group, a business specializing in energy efficiency, renewable energy, distributed energy resources, and sustainability consulting, is proud to announce national certification as a Women’s Business Enterprise (WBE) by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council-West, a regional certifying partner of the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC).

“We believe that diversity in the work place is a fundamental driver for success,” said BrightLine Group’s CEO, Lynn Roy. “Showing girls around the world that women can be leaders in the field of energy, renewable energy and sustainability consulting has always been and will continue to be a primary goal of ours. Being a certified women-owned business is one step toward achieving that goal.”

WBENC’s national standard of certification implemented by the Women’s Business Enterprise Council-West is a meticulous process including an in-depth review of the business and site inspection. The certification process is designed to confirm the business is at least 51% owned, operated and controlled by a woman or women.

By including women-owned businesses among their suppliers, corporations and government agencies demonstrate their commitment to fostering diversity and the continued development of their supplier diversity programs.
